Since January 2019, there is a wood-fired private hot tub next to the holiday home of bed and breakfast Casa Koudekerke. You can relax in a hot tub, whether it is summer or winter.
Immerse yourself in the warm water, enjoy the fresh air: that is the way to relax! The hot tub completes your overnight stay in the holiday home.
The hot tub has a plastic indoor pool, which guarantees hygiene. The water is refreshed for every guest. Thanks to the insulation and the wooden casing, the bath will keep the right temperature for a long time.
The hottub is heated with wood from the region. Wood is a sustainable and environmentally friendly energy source due to the short CO2 cycle. Furthermore, this hot tub has no unnatural sound from a pump. You only hear the silence, occasionally interrupted by the crackling fire.
How does it work?
If you want to use the hottub, we ask you to reserve it in advance. We then offer the hottub fully ready for use. All you have to do is light a fire, and when the water is hot, just jump in. If desired, we can heat the hot tub for you (in the off season).
Before usage, we will give a short instruction about the hot tub. Bathrobe and towels are ready for you and there is enough firewood (and lighters) available at a time. You only have to bring your own swimwear and slippers. Please keep in mind that it always takes at least three hours for the hottub to warm up.
The hottub is not in use in very hot (terraced) weather, due to inconvenience to the environment. It is also not possible to use the hot tub during frost and thunder.
